What LoopyRoutines stores, and where
Your routines, schedules, run history and settings are saved using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults), scoped to the LoopyRoutines app only. This data never leaves your device: it is not synced to any server we operate, not backed up to any third-party service by us, and not accessible to us in any form. We have no database, no account system, and nothing to give you a login for.
If you use iCloud backup at the iOS system level, Apple may include LoopyRoutines' local app data in that backup like any other app — that's Apple's standard device backup behaviour, governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not a feature LoopyRoutines adds or controls.
Tracking and analytics
LoopyRoutines contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising identifier, and no third-party framework of any kind. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we have no way to link your usage of LoopyRoutines to you as an individual, because we never receive any usage data in the first place. This is declared formally in the app's Apple-required Privacy Manifest, which every app on the App Store must submit and which App Review checks against the app's actual code.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, LoopyRoutines schedules them locally on your device using Apple's standard notification framework, based on the routines and schedules you've set up. These are not push notifications sent from a server — nothing about your schedule is transmitted anywhere to make them happen.
Live Activities
When you run a routine with a Live Activity active (the Lock Screen / Dynamic Island timer), that activity is rendered entirely on-device using Apple's ActivityKit framework. No routine data is sent off your device to make it work.
Purchases — LoopyRoutines Plus
LoopyRoutines Plus is an auto-renewable subscription sold and processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, using Apple's StoreKit framework. Your payment details are handled by Apple — LoopyRoutines never sees your card details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple shares only what's needed for the app to know which plan you're on. For how Apple itself handles payment data, see Apple's Privacy Policy. Subscription terms are Apple's standard terms — see Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Children's privacy
Because LoopyRoutines collects no data from anyone, this applies equally regardless of the user's age — there is no data collected from children or adults for us to handle differently.
Changes to this policy
If LoopyRoutines' data practices ever change — for example, if a future feature required a network connection — this page will be updated first, with a new “last updated” date above, before that feature ships.
